At Lubberdubber’s, family is at the heart of everything we do — quite literally. Our store was founded 10 years ago by Dr. & Mrs. Zieg, who lovingly named it Lubberdubber’s after the sweet “lub-dub” sound of a heartbeat. That simple, life-giving rhythm represents what this store is all about: children, family, and the joy that fills a home. We are so honored to carry that legacy forward as new owners.

As a farming family by trade and a big, lively family by blessing, we understand just how meaningful life’s moments are — first coming-home outfits, first birthdays, first Christmases, first Easters. In fact, many of our own children’s milestone outfits came from this very store long before we owned it. That full-circle story makes Lubberdubber’s even more special to us.

If you visit the shop, chances are you’ll see one (or several!) Mitchell family members helping customers, unpacking boxes, or modeling new arrivals. We truly take our entourage everywhere, and while it can be loud and a little wild, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Our hearts could burst with gratitude for God’s goodness and the community that surrounds us.
